We have a new look at the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and there’s a lot to take in! At the D23 EXPO in Anaheim, Lucasfilm presented its live-action The Last Jedi film slate to a very enthusiastic crowd. Along with a look at The Last Jedi behind the scenes, Walt Disney Studios Chairman Alan Horn welcomed Rian Johnson, who is the writer and director. Johnson thrilled the audience by introducing talent from the film, including Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro.

The Last Jedi Behind The Scenes

Here’s what we know:

In Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the Skywalker saga continues as the heroes of The Force Awakens join the galactic legends in an epic adventure that unlocks age-old mysteries of the Force and shocking revelations of the past.

The movie stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is written and directed by Rian Johnson. Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman are producing, with J.J. Abrams, Tom Karnowski and Jason McGatlin serving as executive producers.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens in theaters on December 15, 2017. Here’s the official video!
