The Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida is full of amazing hotels and resorts that are just minutes away from all of the attractions and theme parks. We’ve stayed at several of them, including Port Orleans – Riverside and the Swan and Dolphin Resort.
However, as wonderful as those locations are, out of all the resorts that our family has stayed at anywhere in the United States, the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek is without doubt my favorite. Located right in the heart of Disney and minutes away from everything, the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek resort is a masterclass in luxury, comfort, relaxation, and convenience.
Our first stay at this awesome resort was during BlogHer 2017, which was located in the massive Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek convention center. During that time we had a chance to explore in-depth many of the amenities that this hotel and the adjoining Waldorf Astoria Orlando has to offer. Things such as:
o World-class dining options, including La Luce, Harvest Bistro, Bull & Bear, Oscar’s and Peacock Alley.
o A 3-acre resort-style pool featuring a lazy river and water slide (our kid’s favorite!).
o Kids Club, a Disney Store, and daily recreational activities.
o A Rees Jones-designed championship golf course.
Admittedly, most of our time during our stays was spent either at the Disney Store or the lazy river, and the Harvest Bistro restaurant was where we ate the most. Not only was the food incredible, but the customer service was beyond amazing. We received warm accommodations from the chefs who patiently discussed non-gluten, non-dairy options for our girls during each of our visits (they were unaware that we were bloggers). One chef even said that she would run to the store if necessary to buy any ingredients that we would need for our allergen-free meals. I’ve never encountered such wonderful service at a restaurant.
Room quality is important too, of course. As you might expect, our rooms at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek were exceptional. You can request a room with a view, such as views of Disney parks and their nightly firework displays. Our kids loved staying up later than usual to see fireworks from the nearby Hollywood Studios. Our rooms were comfortable and had nice marble bathrooms with large showers.
What else is there to say? The Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek is most impressive, inside and out. The main lobby is bright, warm, and inviting (plus the ambient scent is wonderful), and those sentiments last throughout the entire building. The corridors that wrap around the convention center and eventually lead to the Waldorf Astoria Orlando are spacious and have beautiful views of the lazy river, golf course, and adjoining nature reserve. Everything about walking through this resort is relaxing and refreshing.
I view the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek as a destination in itself and would be very happy to consider a stay there as a vacation… even though it’s surrounded by the best that Disney has to offer.
By the way, this article was not sponsored by the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek. I simply want to tell everyone that I love this resort.
